Nach 30 Jahren Abstinenz von Uhren mit mechanischem Selbstaufzugswerk gönnte ich mir diese Seiko.

Der erste Eindruck war ein Schock, was die erreichbare Genauigkeit anging. Nach einigen Tagen Tragen der Uhr pendelte sie sich auf eine akzeptable Ganggenauigkeit ein, die ich selbst mit ungefähr 40 Sekunden Ungenaugikeit in 3 Tagen beobachtete, was etwas besser als die Spezifikation ist. ERklären kann ich es mir mit der Körpertemperatur, Federspannung und der betriebsbedingten Verteilung von Schmiermitteln bei der Inbetriebnahme (ob das so ist, kann nur ein Uhrmacher erklären).

In meinem Fall geht sie vor, bleibt aber immer ubesser als für den Uhrentyp angegeben.

Die Rückwand mit dem Glasfenster ist ein Modegag und macht das Gehäuse unnötig dick, aber man kann das Werk arbeiten sehen. Es ist ein tolles Gefühl, das mechanische Wunderwerk arbeiten zu sehen, es wirkt nahezu lebendig.

Die Verarbeitung ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben, die Uhr ist angenehm leicht. Das Metallband ist auch auf der Innenseite vergoldet. Die Uhr kriegt von mir einen Stern Abzug, weil das Armband keine Sicherheitsfaltschließe besitzt.

Das goldfarbene Zifferblatt mit einem Karodekor lässt das Design sehr aufwendig wirken und gibt ihm eine gewisse Achtzigerjahre-Anmutung, die mir sehr zusagt.

Die Leuchtindexe sind im Dunkeln gut erkennbar.
Insgesamt ist die Uhr eine Empfehlung für jeden, der mal ein echtes mechanisches Uhrwerk am Handgelenk will, ohne Unsummen ausgeben zu müssen.
